Library Volunteers

Dear Escondido Families,

I am so excited to welcome you all back to a new school year and am anxiously awaiting seeing many old faces, as well as some new.  However, the library cannot run smoothly without your help! 

The Escondido Library relies heavily on its volunteers!  In an effort to ensure that all classes have proper coverage, I have changed the volunteer schedule to reflect slightly longer volunteer slots with overlapping times.  All teachers will be walking their students to and from the library thus volunteers are requested to report directly to the library at the start of their volunteer shift. 

If you are interested in volunteering in the library, but are unable to do so during the time when your child(ren) might be visiting, please do consider an alternate time slot.  In particular, I can always use assistance during the first part of the day when the classes return their books for check-in. 

I will send out information regarding training for all library volunteers once volunteers have had an opportunity to sign-up.
