Student Support

Escondido Elementary uses the Response to Intervention and Instruction (RTI2) framework to support students in reading, mathematics, and behavior. This framework helps all of our students achieve success at school. The purpose of RTI2 is to ensure that that every child receives instruction that leads to success. Teachers and staff use assessment data to determine the level of support that each child needs.  They can then plan best instruction for every child. Some additional supports that are offered at our site to support students academically include: support from our reading specialists and after school intervention classes.
